‘Equity & ethics in data journalism’ MOOC is now available as a self-directed course. This four-week online professional development course, held virtually from June 22 to July 19, 2020, had 1,988 registered students from 133 countries. The course addressed tools and techniques to help journalists tell data stories fairly and ethically, offering a hands-on guide to learning how to identify inequity and hidden bias.
