Our mission
Psychedelics are shaping American culture, inspiring communities to come together, and sparking new interest in policy, science, and business. This moment requires a dedicated source of independent media to capture the most important stories of this psychedelic revival.
Psychedelic State(s) of America is committed to elevating and amplifying the highest quality psychedelic journalism, education, and information from across the burgeoning independent media landscape of today and tomorrow.
We report effect sizes, sample sizes, and limitations rather than press releases, treat the traditions behind these medicines as a beat rather than a footnote, and keep partnerships disclosed and editorially firewalled from the newsroom.

Boilerplate
Psychedelic State(s) of America (PSA) is an independent newsroom, archive, and convening network covering psychedelic policy, clinical science, and culture across the United States. PSA publishes reported news, clearly labeled commentary, a daily wire of independent psychedelic journalism, and a public calendar that combines its own listings with the Psychedelic Writers Guild calendar. PSA is sponsored by the Alternative Newsweekly Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to supporting independent journalism.
