The Art of Giving and Receiving Feedback

The Art of Giving and Receiving Feedback is a 90-minute Professional Development workshop on January 23, 2024, at 7:00 PM (location and city TBA), offering tools and structure to make sharing work in progress—an important but potentially daunting and overwhelming part of the creative process—and giving and receiving feedback positive, meaningful, and motivating for next steps and future screenings. Led by Sumana Mandala, CRP practitioner and co-director of the CRP Certification program, participants will learn Critical Response Process (CRP), developed by choreographer Liz Lerman and used for over 30 years in the arts and many other disciplines, through a hands-on feedback session with a VC member’s short work in progress. VC Gold members can sign in for a free ticket; nonmembers are invited to join VC Gold to attend events for free.
