Let’s PAUSE: Embodied Mindfulness for Non-fiction Storytellers is a Professional Development workshop on 2024-05-26 at 1:30 AM (location and city TBA), offering safe collective reflection and rest through touch, taste, smell, hearing, seeing, body/breath awareness and art-making for mind–body oneness and a break from daily hustle. Offered by SMArT (Studio for Movement Arts & Therapies), Bangalore, India—an arts-based mental-health education provider centring bodywork, breath and presence—it is facilitated by Robin Raju (he/they), a Queer Affirmative Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner exploring movement and embodied life through Jungian integration of unconscious parts of the Self. Bring something sweet or savoury, incense/perfume/soap, a candle and matchbox, 1–2 blank A4 sheets, crayons/colour pencils/sketch pens, a pen and journal; wear light, comfortable clothes, use a private space without interruptions throughout, and visit SMArT’s website to learn more.
