“two-week course offers solutions journalism approaches to improve climate reporting” features the free online professional development course “Climate Solutions Journalism: A Community-informed & Equity-focused Approach.” Held virtually from Aug. 19 to Sept. 1, 2024, this two-week course will be led by Hugo Balta, publisher of the Latino News Network (LNN) and an accredited solutions journalism trainer. It aims to equip participants to make a real impact by focusing on practical solutions for everyday climate issues.
