A documentary video camera stands in focus against an illustrated brewery interior with small groups talking and appetizers on tables.

Minneapolis Hub Launch celebrates the Video Consortium’s (VC) new Twin Cities hub on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, with Professional Development, nonfiction film, and connections among documentary filmmakers and video journalists over a brew and appetizers at La Doña Cervecería, 241 Fremont Avenue North, Harrison, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55405 United States. The event runs 5:30–8pm, with conversation welcome until closing at 11pm; at 6pm, local VC organizers introduce VC, why the chapter launched, and hopes for the nonfiction filmmaking community, including ongoing meetups and other events (the listing separately gives 6:30 PM). Admission is donation-based, with proceeds sponsoring future events; RSVP to reserve a spot due to venue capacity, arrive early for first-come, first-served drink tickets and food and the 6pm introduction, and purchase additional beverages and food from La Doña.
