Chicago Hub Launch marks the official launch of the Chicago hub with a Professional Development happy hour for local documentary filmmakers, nonfiction video creatives and multimedia journalists, welcoming seasoned creatives and those just starting out. Join us Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Side Practice Coffee, 5139 North Damen Avenue, Lincoln Square, Chicago, Illinois 60625, United States (the source description gives 6–9 PM CST; the listing’s time field gives 7:00 PM). Enjoy food and non-alcoholic beverages (BYOB), board games, local zines and opportunities to network with local filmmakers and video storytellers, meet the organizers and preview what VC hopes to contribute to Chicago’s vibrant local scene.
