Peak Producing: Elevate your newsroom, accelerate your career (August 2025) is Poynter’s four-session online professional development training for new TV producers, designed to elevate content, help manage journalism demands and build newsroom leadership through dynamic skills in leadership, storytelling and ethical decision-making. Industry veterans Kerwin Speight and WTVD/ABC11’s VP Bervette Carree deliver frameworks to enhance program quality and team management—an investment in producers and stronger newsrooms. Sessions run August–September 2025, with a listed event date of September 8, 2025; applications close July 18, and participation is virtual.
