Collaborative Conversations: Coproductions with Spain

Collaborative Conversations: Coproductions with Spain — 2025-12-12, 11:00 AM; Mixer; location/city TBA — explores leveraging Spanish coproductions in six monthly public online workshops from November through 2026, with European producers/directors teaching country-specific coproduction practices: France, Germany, Spain, Italy, UK, Sweden. Lead Margot Mecca, an Italian film programmer/producer based in Barcelona and Eurodoc/TorinoFilmLab alumna, freelances internationally, guiding fiction/nonfiction films from development to distribution; she sits on Festival dei Popoli’s selection committee, heads Doc at Work’s industry platform and regularly collaborates with Visions du Réel, FIDMarseille, Majordocs and +RAIN Film Festival. €3/workshop; fee waivers if cost is prohibitive: hubs@videoconsortium.org; both collaborating organizations aim to elevate imaginative nonfiction cinema and build industry community.
