Tactics and Frameworks To Help Creators Combat Extremism Across Topics

News Creator Corps invites creators and community messengers to join this masterclass with A.W. Ohlheiser, a media expert in covering extremism and internet culture. It’s never been easier for extremists to get views, and communicators seeking to help their audiences understand this environment are competing for attention on the same platforms and facing obstacles like targeted harassment. A.W. will break down the process for evaluating and reporting on extremist content and disinformation, helping creators to determine their role in the story, the most responsible way to present the information to their audience, and how to minimize being hijacked by online extremists.
