VC Marrakech Launch

VC Marrakech Launch: Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 2:00 PM, Les Étoiles de Jemaa El Fna, 36 Derb Fhal Zefriti, Marrakech, Marrakesh-Safi 40000 Morocco; Professional Development marks Morocco’s first Video Consortium hub. The evening screens Beyond the Atlas Lions: Morocco's Aspiring Footballers with Al Jazeera World—an intimate look at aspiring footballers’ pursuits across Morocco—during Morocco’s 2026 FIFA World Cup group stages, inviting reflection on football’s stories, ambitions and communities ahead of co-hosting the 2030 tournament. Connect with filmmakers, video journalists, photographers, producers, editors, media professionals, cultural organizations and Morocco’s wider creative community; nonfiction storytellers and documentary enthusiasts can meet VC Marrakech and learn about Video Consortium, a global nonprofit network supporting documentary filmmakers, video journalists and nonfiction storytellers through events, community building and professional development.
