Tallform: Chicago's First Vertical Film Festival

Tallform: Chicago's First Vertical Film Festival — celebrate storytelling with VC Chicago on August 16, 2026, at 5:15 PM at Music Box Theater, 3733 North Southport Avenue, Wrigleyville, Chicago, Illinois 60613 USA, for a mixer featuring a free, 90-minute screening of short nonfiction and documentary films made specifically for the vertical (9:16) frame. Co-presented by Press Forward Chicago and Encyclopedia Britannica, the inaugural lineup features work from WTTW, City Bureau, Chicago Public Library, Chicago 312 and local journalists across the city. Take the CTA Red Line to Addison or Brown Line to Southport; parking may be scarce during Chicago Cubs home games or other Wrigley Field events, so public transportation or taxis are recommended on those dates—check the Cubs schedule for home game dates and consult the listing's More Parking / Public Transport Details.
