Presented by Video Consortium with Radically Rural for journalists and visual storytellers, the three-part virtual series covers physical safety, digital security and psychological first aid, led by experts from the International Women's Media Foundation, Freedom of the Press Foundation and Media Resilience Network, offering strategies to assess risk, protect work, build resilience and report confidently. This third session is Media Resilience Network's interactive 90-minute training for video journalists, facilitated by Luisa Ortiz Pérez and Ana Arriagada, teaching empathetic active listening, emotional regulation, stress management and initial support, with Psychological First Aid skills for supporting themselves and colleagues before, during and after difficult assignments, in newsrooms and the field.
