She teaches journalism at Brandeis University and created Journalism Mentors, advancing early-career journalists through mentorship and paid opportunities. As the author of the Media Minds newsletter , she explores journalism, tech, and product intersections. Her experience spans Axios, Los Angeles Times, and the New York Times. Adriana holds degrees in African American Studies and Journalism from Penn State, and a master's in Digital Audience Strategy from Arizona State University.
