Collaborative Conversations: Coproductions with France

· 11:00 AM
Location TBA

Collaborative Conversations: Coproductions with France (Professional Development) is Nov 7, 2025, 11:00 AM, online; location/city TBA; this public series of six monthly online workshops, November through 2026, features European producers/directors teaching coproduction differences in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and Sweden. France’s session is led by Jean Laurent Csinidis, who founded Films de Force Majeure in 2010 for auteur films/international collaborations; his documentary focus returns him to fiction; he has produced/coproduced 30 films, most shown at Cannes, Berlin, Locarno, Venice, IDFA, Visions du Réel, Rotterdam, Cinéma du Réel or Annecy, including features distributed in France and internationally. Both organizations collaborate to elevate imaginative nonfiction cinema and build industry community; workshops cost €3 each, with fee waivers for those finding it prohibitive: hubs@videoconsortium.org.
